Count me out! Single-artic bendies are big enough, if bigger than single unartic single-deck vehicles are really necessary. And IMHO the existing bendi-(motor)buses do not cause any real problems on the road, and are a lot safer and conveniently laid out internally for passengers than double deckers. Ultra-high capacity bi-artics are just a way of cutting down the number of drivers employed and at the same time the service frequency, to the detriment of the travelling public - and are likely to cause problems on the road in many circumstances. |
