Re rigged consultation, what evidence have you (as opposed to your own obvious bigotry) that even if some on the antitram side contrived to submit multiple response forms it was only that side that were at it? I know for a fact that the some elements among the tram fanatics would stop at nothing to get this scheme through, and were being egged on by serving or former TfL officials. And that's apart from the sustained campaign of pro-tram andi-trolley misinformation and outright lies conducted by TfL officials and GLA and borough Labour politicians (backed by the greenies) throughout - not least by the cocky cockey wideboy they brought in to (mis)manage the project. And having been personally involved in so-called 'professionaL' market research in the past I can tell you that even if those concerned are not knowingly framing the questions and the sample so as to get the desired answer it is a hopelessly unreliable way of accurately assessing public opinion. And what evidence have you (again as opposed to your obvious bigotry) that all - or even many - of those opposed to the tram scheme were 'NIMBYS', 'car driving' or otherwise? - it's you and your kind that are the real bullying, condescending and name-calling element here - this is what many of us with well-founded, reasoned and public-spirited reasons for opposing that crackpot tram scheme were subjected to throughout that saga - and it's starting all over again here now. |
