Your last paragraph exactly reflects the mindlessly and offensively abusive comments about SES that Councillor Ray Wall spouted from the chair at the public meeting hosted by West Ealing Neighbours, if that's the meeting you're talking about. He came across to many people there as rude, ill-informed, pig-ignorant, and utterly unfit for the position of Cabinet responsibility he was holding at the time, and I'm very sorry to see him back as a Councillor. (I might also add that from what I hear, following his loss of office at the local election he and/or other members of the Wall family were not averse to shouting down and bullying members of the incoming Council administration at local Ward Forums) I myself was there (at the WEN public meeting) at the invitation of WEN in a semi-official capacity to speak on technical traffic and transport matters, and I had to contend with various hecklers and interrupters from the floor - there were plenty of pro-trammers there - so it wasn't all one-sided. Your comments demonstrate you to be every bit as bigoted and ignorant as the likes of Councillor Wall on these matters. You have also ducked out of answering the several points and questions put to you by myself and others earlier in this thread - no doubt because they are unanswerable. |
