| You're obviously just prejudiced against trolleybuses for soem reasons known only to yourself (if at all). So you are now saying, apparently in all seriousness, that you advocate noisy vehicles on spurious safety grounds? Public transport around Ealing is nowhere near good enough to induce me to abandon my car for most journeys beyond convenient walking diatance. I've lived here in South Ealing for nearly 30 years, and in west London for 37 years (before you were born?) - and have worked continuously as a transport professional throughout that time - and have not lost touch with how even less adequate public tansport is elsewhere. So yes I do know what I'm talking about, unlike some on this thread. |
