| It's not just 'one' bus stop even in South Ealing - there's lots across west London and elsewhere. But if you're really serious about having a go then one of the worst is the heavily-used southbound stop opposite South Ealing station, which lost its shelter and seating when the stop was moved over 7 years ago, the now-stopless shelter being subsequently removed (probably not coincidentally after the issue had been reported in the local press) but without any replacement facility at the relocated stop. This manifestation of TfL incompetence and wilful negligence became so widespread that they gave it a euphmistic name - 'migration'. The phenomenon is the subject of amused sniggers rather than the more appropriate concern and outrage on the part of Ealing Councillors and TfL representatives. |
