"If you read my point it was that unless Ealing as a Council gets it's Transport act together we will get little benefit from Crossrail" - No, your point was that "Crossrail has had big money already spent and shows that London can still do big projects" and "For me I will go from Hanwell to Bond Street and walk from there to work for a year before I retire." Has EPTUG done 'passenger surveys' of the many luckless bus punters at unsheltered and seatless bus stops, or indeed lifted a finger to do anything about such barbaric travel conditions? - no of course not, EPTUG like the authorities (including Ealing Council) is only interested in big glossy projects like Xrail and couldn't give a toss about the primitive and unsatisfactory state of our existing BASIC local transport facilities. |
