I bet the wheelie bins will move around - that's what they have wheels for and that's why in places with them we see them all over the pavements. We'll have enormous lorries negotiating our small streets - the routes as usual - just to collect from a few properties that remembered to put their bins out. How are they going to remember to put their bins out once a fortnight? Probably by leaving them out all the time. Will you be able to swap your wheelie bin for a smaller one every other week? No. They're not a very flexible option. What happens when your wheelie bin goes on holiday? Who will be paying for the replacement? They will belong to the Council. So what will happen if they are stolen? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1051963/Plans-share-wheelie-bins-soaring-demand-Eastern-Europe-leaves-Britain-short.html |
