I still don't know what you mean by 'Styropac'. Isn't 'Styrofoam' the American equivalent of Polystyrene? Are you sure you don't mean 'Tetrapak' which is probably the best-known brand name of a 'food and drinks carton' or a 'liquid food and drinks carton' or 'beverage carton'? This is the sort of cardboard container where the cardboard is fused/lined with layer/s of plastic or aluminium foil eg those particularly used for long-life/UHT milk and juice; fresh soup, juice and smoothies and carton milk and sauces. I believe this is also called 'paperboard'. It is more difficult to recycle because of this plastic and foil and the companies making this packaging got together to sponsor bring banks at first. There are still separate bring banks in various places AFAIK eg Lidl car park and the Reuse & Recycling Centres. YES YES YES we have for some time now been able to put these in our green boxes as well but NOT in the flats' clear sack recycling. |
