| I think that there is balance and in fact what we generally see is a screw you attitude where we all become selfish by default as everyone around us behaves that way. We see Rights vs. Personal Responsability where rights win all the time. We live in an iWorld where we sit in our own iPod worlds oblivious to what goes on around us. Public Safety adverts on the TV have been replaced with Claims Direct and other ambulance lawyers. Mankind could become extinct throught sheer stupidity!! We all talk about they motorists/cyclists/pedestrians. But what I see on the average drive/walk is amazingly dumb and selfish behaviour by all the groups. I would say that many people are arrogant or just don't see what dangers they are putting others in and also themselves!! So whilst this thread has started about cycling the truth is more widespread. |
