Try telling a cyclist that it is an offence to cycle through a red light regardless of who is trying to cross the road. I remember being told when I learnt to drive that I couldn't move from a crossing until the light turned green even if the people had crossed safely over to the other side. Why do cyclists believe they are exempt? Am sorry if I am upsetting the cyclists among you but it is a fact - 95% of cyclists ignore red lights and one can only assume that they become colour blind once they own a bicycle and don a cycle helmet. |
