| Re they become colour blind once they own a bicycle and don a cycle helmet. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx I would say not so, not in my case anyway, and the reason is a) to give a head start for when the normal traffic starts and b) knowing you cannot do any harm if no pedestrians around. It is almost a question of self preservation in some locations eg the traffic lights just past the Town Hall going into the centre direction if one wants to turn right into the High Street. You need to get a head start to get into position as much as poss before the motorised vehicles get underway from the lights. |
