BAPLA (British Association of Picture Libraries and Agencies) cite the same clause in the CDP Act but note that: "There is an argument that an Architect could still make a claim for copyright infringement if such use infringed the original plans for the building." They w being harassed under the PoT Act but that was before the clear ACPO guidelines, interestingly the working party was chaired by Andy Trotter, Chief Constable of the BTP whose force, I guess, was most affected. |
