| Phil is mostly right. He is wrong though about the parking spaces not beng used. They are rented out to adjacent businesses that use them for their businesses. They are entitled to expect other people to respect their property rights. They essentially ask Park Direct to police them for them. I don't like Park Direct's tactics and I advise people that they can ignore their demands for money. On the other hand I advise people to respect the rights of the parking place users. This will all go when the council gets the compulsory purchase powers that come with Crossrail and can redesign teh forecourt without the parking places. |
