Bud Whilst I agree with you regarding the comments about the individual employed to photographically record persons parking in the bays at Ealing Broadway, I take exception to your ridiculous blanket statement "that people are too lazy or cheap to park in the proper areas and when caught parking in areas that they should not, moan to all and sundry". I neither parked there because I'm "lazy" nor "cheap", but simply because on the rainy evening at 21.30 in question the bays were empty and I was causing no disruption to anyone. You may well argue its private property but in my opinion, when you have bays like this so publicly placed that are empty I think categorizing people who judiciously use them as lazy and cheap is ridiculous. If I had parked the car there and walked away to go shopping then fair enough, but I didn't, I was waiting in the car for a few minutes to collect my daughter from her trip with the Guides. I try to play by the rules in life but I'm afraid get pretty fed up with stupid petty ones, particularly if they are largely designed to annoy and inconvenience, employing zero common sense. |
