| Thank you Sara, again a very accurate and balanced observation. David, I had already suggested getting back on topic. Hardly any of these events touch Ealing, Marathon (another pointless sporting activity - running miles for no reason causing heartys and other injuries) happens in East London and the City which is usually deserted on Sundays anyway. Anti-knife demo's usually happen in the West End or Parliment way. Hanwell Carnival well yes thats a bit closer but takes place in one location, this event covers a large area, affecting some residents who will have disruption of their business throughout the day. Granted its one day, but the 'done deal' seems really unfair to those affected. |
