There are quite a few roads which can't be used but it appears that cars are allowed along the stretch of Uxbridge Road from Drayton Green Road towards Ealing Broadway - the cyclists will allegedly be using the bus lane. On a side note - this morning was on the bus going to the station. A cyclist was ahead and we were approaching the junction just past the council offices - the lights turned red, the bus duly stops. The cyclist ahead cycles through the red light totally oblivious to the traffic coming out of the road on the right. Am sorry to say this but sometimes cyclists do create the accidents they are involved in. I am not saying that the all cyclists are like this, but the vast majority appear to be. What's going to happen on Sunday when they are all together? Heaven help poor pedestrians who dare cross the road at crossings, or are they too banned from using the public highway? |
