| Southall is I believe not to be menaced by this latest exploit from the stable of the Dirty Digger. As one of his customers I intend to tell him that if he sponsors another of these fiascos near me he will lose my business. He has already lost it from The Times. After buying it for 30 years I gave up in digust. I await a call back from our illustrious council in the hope they can clarify contradictory information I have bseen on who can go where and when, where they can park, disabled access and bus diversions. I think commercial and church interests should protest vehemently at this disruption of their work. I am all for cycling but why should cyclists be encouraged to seriously inconvenience other people? Do I ask for a day when the roads are free of every other vehicle except private cars? Of course not. It would be outrageous. So is this folly. |
