In my experience no web site is available 100% of the time. Even the BBC sites can be periodically out of action. This could of course be no fault of their own as there are many links in the chain between a website and a computer. However usually the lack of availability of a site is usually for a few hours rather than a few days. Something has gone seriously wrong here and the lack of anything other than the most sketchy explanation is not reassuring.
