| It would appear to be the entire council network that has failed, not just their web server. They insist on using proprietary software that is well known to be insecure and virus friendly, and refuse to allow software that is well known to be much more secure and virus unfriendly. There is a huge amount of top quality, secure, and efficient software available, there are plenty of University level courses that provide information and training, but Britain provides very little help for new users to gain experience because most IT people are either clueless or are receiving too many perks for pushing poor quality and expensive systems. |
