| My friend usually pays her council tax online so this was a real problem for her. We went to the council offices yesterday and the security guard insulted her by asking if she wanted to be directed to housing benefit! They could only take cash due to the complete failure of the system so we had to get the cash and come back to pay! Of course if she had not paid then she would have no doubt received a nasty letter from the council for non-payment of council tax! |
