| This thread has been getting off topic, thanks to strange interventions from certain individuals and the inevitable deflection by the Lycra cheerleader. The fact is the majority has rejected the LTN schemes and they should be removed forthwith. They have been in for a year. They have solved no problems, since no problem existed in most places where they were installed. The feedback has been robust enough to withstand the threats from Gilligan (unelected, and supposedly an ‘observer’ on the TfL board). Try putting these schemes in elsewhere in the borough and the proponents would get even shorter shrift. |
