It's hard to tell what went on here, I'm pretty sure LTN21 removal had nothing to do with swyncombe though. I'd find it very strange Hounslow wouldn't be supportive of LTNs in Ealing given it appears to be a big fan of LTNs having just made most of them permanent. Hounslow, like Ealing, wants fewer car journeys, surely some of Hounslow's car journeys come from Ealing so it's in Hounslow's interest to see that amount reduced with policies in Ealing. Something else has gone on here, from Sharma's weird pronouncement that LTN21 should be suspended just before it was suspended to the non existing major roadworks, it's all very strange. |
