Compare it to the Local Implementation Plan one, which the council deliberately avoided advertising despite its potential massive impact on all residents. That got about 400 responses, which Bell claimed was a great turnout. The LTN or saw 22,000 respond. You are in denial because you haven’t got what you want. Hounslow has always been determined to close Swyncombe, under whatever pretext, because it fits its policy aims to make driving almost impossible in parts of that borough. The permanent closures of Whitestile and other roads illustrates this, even though the overwhelming majority of residents didn’t want them. Clearly Curran, who drives his huge frame about in a Diesel engined Range Rover by the way, is confident he can lose support in those wards but still cling onto power. Perhaps you should move to Hounslow, although I hear Kabul is nowvery welcoming to militant cyclists these days. |
