Can you explain on what basis you dispute that Swynecombe Avenue was experiencing significant displacement? Residents were convinced this was happening and their position was endorsed by the Hounslow Council officer's report. The blank statement that you don't believe this to be true seems more like an unwillingness to accept a fact that doesn't fit a narrative that you are determined to believe in. As for a broader conspiracy theory that a non-existent problem was manufactured as an excuse to scrap the LTN, this lacks any logic. Mason had already decided to hold consultations and this LTN would have been just as unpopular as the others so it would have been scrapped along with the others had his plan succeeded. |
