| That’s why lunatics shouldn’t be given the keys to the asylum. What the decision makers forget is that London, and Ealing is not some homogeneous entity where everyone’s needs, aspirations and lifestyles are the same. That’s why one size fits all approaches fail. The LIP you mention outlined massive spending on cycle infrastructure even though most Ealing residents don’t cycle and most never will. Not exactly visionary, unless you are an LCC member. Maybe a bit more austerity is what Ealing needs. They’ve pretty much given up providing most services adequately anyway. Why not include transport in that too? |
