Surely the compost that the Council produces from our garden waste is used in local parks and green spaces, therefore saving the Council having to buy compost? The current system works - why change it? I live in a mid-terrace house and cannot have a wheelie bin and I absolutely refuse to pay £20 for 25 bags - if they're anything like the bags used previously then they'll be quite small and it'll cost me a fortune, on top of the £40 a year. They must be joking! |
