| Paul is just provoking everyone here. He’s not convincing anyone with his ‘rhetoric’. According to Ealing council traffic has increased by 28 percent on Haslemere and 11 percent on Elthorne Park Road since the Swyncombe restrictions went in. It’s even put those figures on its literature about the proposals for Elthorne/Leighton. Hounslow published its figures for Windmill Road a year after Swyncombe was operating and the increase was 18 percent, partly exacerbated by the unwanted LTN at the bottom of Junction Road. Paul provides no evidence for anything he says. Even Rachel Alfred’s research is no longer quoted by cycling nut jobs because the data she produced was so flawed. Perhaps Paul should start with an LTN in his road before lecturing everyone else. See what his neighbours think of him then. |
