| I pay & have paid plenty of tax throughout my life, you have no idea what I pay. If as you bleat roads are paid for out of general taxation, why do I need to pay a tax? Citing emissions cars (electric) etc have to bow down & obey rule after rule, new charge after new charge to go on the road. I see bikes with no lights, riders on phones, cycling on pavements, wrong way down 1 way streets. They are entitled to use the same ( probably more) of the road than motorists. Therefore contribute, face PCNs through post etc. For someone who’s not anti car, you never ever do anything but berate them. Awfully hypocritical as it was forced out of you to admit you were driving. We all want to be safe, that starts with ourselves. When you stop driving or have nothing to do with motorised vehicles, then you will glean some support |
