| What you ‘believe’ is immaterial Ben. The fact is that journey times in London have increased. All the fiddling with speed limits, junctions, light phasings and everything else has a cumulative impact. Just because you don’t think that speed limits should change every Mike is also immaterial. They change when turning off a trunk road like the A4 onto SouthEaling Road. You complain of emissions, well constant braking to stay within artificially low speed limits contributes to that. You clearly don’t understand anything about transport planning. Turning London into a snail pace city is bad for businesses. Pop down to any builders merchant or delivery depot and have a chat with the people there about your ideas. You’ll get very short shrift. |
