Do tell me where I mentioned not being ABLE to touch in/out. I have invariably found Tfl and SWT trains staff more than willing to help anyone unable to use their Oyster card. I therefore reiterate that if you can't be bothered to touch in/out then "thank you". Doubtless there are countless "I had a friend" stories about Oyster cards, I do however appear to have missed any factual occurrences being quoted in these threads.
