Vauxhall station. Once, when on crutches, a kindly barrier 'guard' opened the gates for me and I forgot to 'touch out' incurring an excess charge. It took all of two minutes to resolve this on the 'phone and the 'excess' was refunded to my Oyster card. Oyster is an immensely convenient system and if, like me, you forget to touch in/out then the mistake can be resolved. If you simply can't be bothered to touch in/out then thank you for subsidising the system by over-paying for your journey.
