Tony, Yes. I saw inside the pump enclosure when the door was opened to allow for the lighting cable for the festival period to be plugged in. It was dark but I think I saw the outline of an inverted slim bucket-like pump similar to those you see on building sites...blue and white plastic. This may have been the sump pump because we have had periods when there was no fountain but a pump was running and spurts of water were issuing from the wall of the pump building. The only other fact I have is that the last time it was running see post above its death was preceeded by intermittent spurts as if it was being starved of water at the intake side. |
