| The two ponds date back to the original landscaping of the park so they should survive the £2.4 million makeover. However, will any of the money be spent soon on maintaining the ponds and replacing the fish? I somehow doubt it. Just what is wrong with Walpole Park that it needs £2.4 million spent on it? Surely there's better and more needy things to spend the money on in Ealing, England and even the Horn of Africa. And no I have not heard from Mr Keith Townsend. It's clearly Council policy that Council Officers can't participate personally on this, or perhaps any, web site/blog/digital forum. |
