Sorry folks my last post wasn't very helpful and hence no O,C,F or R replied. Try this. If events happen at the same time they are not always causally connected. However the failure of the fountain last year happened during the festival. The fountain worked away 24/7 up until this year's festival. We have techies out there to help so try this for starters. The extra demand caused by the temporary supply to the roundabouts/lighting etc results in a voltage drop. The fountain pump motor draws more current. This causes overheating and a cut-out comes into operation to protect the motor, switching the motor off. hence no fountain. Remedy is the key to the motor "room" and to reset the cut-out. Is this rubbish? Discuss. |
