| No it's not. Apple Macs were tradtionally used by those with little or no technical knowledge, such as graphic designers and artists. The software has always been designed to be intuitive and easy to use. The machines themselves have also been quite funky in design (to attract said designers etc). As you have already been told most users simply do not care what is under the bonnet. They just need it to wwork. This is the reason why Macs are commonplace. One drawback is the cost of Macs - they have always been expensive. Nothing is free in Appleland! |
