| I would much rather re-use equipment where possible. Personal data left on a disc can be used by criminals, but it is easy to securely wipe a disc that has not already failed. It is legal to use data encryption in the UK, but not in some other countries, so you need to be careful if you travel with a laptop that has encryption software. |
