| The fact that it can run on older hardware faster than Microsoft is just an indication of the general poor quality of Microsoft. Of course it does also run on new hardware, and is often the embedded operating system that drives your new hardware. Microsoft were even taken to court because they included in their operating system software offered under a free license without also including a copy of the license. You can now find the correct and valid licenses embedded in Microsoft products. The fact that few people in the UK are aware of what is available is an indication of the poor standard of UK education. There are plenty of University level courses available, just virtually no help for new users. |
