| I recall that Barnet did have some bin police. It was possibly the government who told them to stop this, but in any event it has ceased. I don't care how recycling is sold to us. There are too many who do not recycle and it is critical that they improve and give up on lazy or filthy habits. So it is right that Ealing spends money on coralling us into better habits. And yes, Colm, I agree that most Labour Councillors do not engage publicly and that is utterly shameeful. However you make a lot of political points. Actually we neeed lots of practical suggestions, not just the the one I gave in my last post and on which you did not comment. So, I am not the only hard person around here;-) |
