| Re recall news items in the 1970's as a child about squatters, so nothing new there. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx exactly. Squatters are parasites on society. If they need housing, there are ways they can be helped in getting it but they are thieves, of others' property and their mental derangement is manifest in the way they damage and destroy the property they have illegally seized. And they don't do much to help adjoining properties either. That they occupy a property is one thing but to add insult to injury by doing damage is unforgiveable. It is on-land piracy, nothing less and should be dealt with as such. As far as I am concerned they should have no rights whatsoever and anything an owner does to regain his property is acceptable I M O, after due warning, even if of only 24hrs. |
