| Well I for one are sick of properties being left empty and unused for months even years. Here's to some use - any use - being made soon of the empty Villiers House, Haven Green south car park, the old cinema site, the Town Hall Extension, the would-be new economy hotel site, the old TVU tower block site, the ground floor of the new Daniels flat block, Woolworths and Richer Sounds that were in West Ealing, and the one acre 51 Drayton Green site. Does the Council want these empty properties to be occupied and graffitied by squatters? Does it suit their purposes so that property developers' plans - however obnoxious - seem almost preferable by replacing buildings and 'changing' sites which have been allowed to deteriorate? |
