| The eco-zealot, anti-car, pro bike freaks of StEaling Council are making life ridiculous. The ever empty bike lane over the River Brent bridge near the Viaduct pub has made the traffic lanes so narrow cars need to mount the pavement in order to let emergency service vehicles through. The new cycle facilities in Boston Road are removing many of the already small number of existing parking spaces (essential for both residents and local businesses) and will also force the cyclists onto the pavement for stretches of the route - how will that be for pedestrian safety!! |
