| True, the old system did work fine. Pity you don't understand why Ealing council (and evcery other council across the country) desperately needs to raise more money. Some really thick people here believe the old lie that Labour 'caused' the bankers crash. Based on that lie, the Tories spent 14 years systematically strangling local authorities of funding in the name of 'austerity' whilst also cutting services. Whilst I am not a 'likely Labour voter' and will not vote for them in the next local elections, it is demonstrably the Tories fault the council is looking for money wherever it can. |
