| Oh the irony of a cyclist trying to explain road signs. There’s us thinking they were invisible to the Lycra brigade. The 21 day consultation in April/May this year elicited just 791 responses. Hardly representative of the borough as a whole considering the major change being proposed. But then it wasn’t widely advertised to deliberately suppress opposition. As it is the majority were against the changes. But then it’s not a referendum according to people like Dismal Driscoll, although he’s quick to say it is when consultations support proposals. Time for a change of council in Ealing. One with some integrity perhaps. |
