| When using the 'paybyphone' app to register a 15 minute parking period, the app still prompted a payment of £0.40p. Parking for up to 30 minutes is therefore NOT free as advertised by the local council on the new signage. I have written to our local councillors with a screenshot of the £0.40 payment request. I have been advised that this will be 'investigated and urgently addressed' and that the issue be 'raised immediately with the relevant team to ask for clarification'. I'm awaiting a response to my my email which was sent and acknowledged on 2nd December. |
