You and youilk would do well, as a first pass, to learn to read. I sais 'up to' 50%. I repeat "up to 50%". Uxbridge Road after the Iron Bridge is a prime example a full lane, 33.5% of the road space allocated to a woefullt underused cycle track alonside a bus lane which cyclists had bee sharing for years without issue. The only blessing is that the currene administration is not permanent and we simply have to endure the manic ravings of the LCC for a while longer. As to more cycle land engouraging moe people to cycle, how's that going? London boroughs have spent a staggering £65 million (source TfL) since 2020 to appease the cycling lobby to deliver a 'staggering 4.5% (peak) of journeys by bike (sources LCC and TfL). If nothing else it proves how absolutely selfish cycle campaigners are in expecting tens of millions of public money to be spent on their pathetic little leisure activity. These Ben are the FACTS. |
