Don’t be an idiot Paul. You make massive assumptions about what people do and why they do it. It’s the LCC strategy down to a tee. Exaggerate (all those supposed ‘near accidents’ for example, which don’t count by the way). Private motor use in London is falling, and has been for years. What has increased is goods traffic and private hire journeys. Those Ubers are privately owned of course, but I bet that’s never stopped you using one. You come across as a needy, preachy hypocrite. Do you insist anyone coming to your house for a visit or making a delivery has to do so on foot or by bike? Bet you don’t. And you drive a car when it suits you. Every time you do do you add to the perceived problem you always complain about. Hypocrite. And love the tutoring of kids into your feeble argument. My kids have no qualms about walking locally or using public transport because they use their brains when out and about, as generations of kids have before them. Judging by the idiotic videos you upload on Twitter you signally fail to do so when on your bike. Not a great role model for your offspring, eh? |
