| It is also worth remembering that three of the air quality monitors were mysteriously either stolen or went out of action for an extended period. (Boston Road, Uxbridge Road W7 near Ian King's both 'mislaid' and by St.Mark's School (mysteriously 'failed'). This means, that no baseline data for these sites all of which were on boundary roads for LTN21 could be captured, Therefore any comparative data citing reductions is either speculative or false. Also interesting to note that the three sensors at the most polluted (due to the release of ground chemicals) site in the bourough - Ealing Green Quarter have all been taken offline. The current readings for all but one of the monitoring sites that are still active is 'Low' for all parameters. |
