| Don't miss out. Many Controlled Parking Zones are being "consulted" on the proposal to increase zone hours six-fold from 2hrs to 12hrs. Here in zone JJ they are at present one hour am and one hour pm. The consequences of such massive changes are probably increased costs, certainly reduced viability of businesses/shops in our high streets and increased isolation of the elderly. Is that why ward councillors keep very quiet on this subject? Areas in Greenford and Acton (thanks go to Vlod for raising this initially) are also under consultation.
