| I would hope that the council will look at the survey results and, zone by zone, take into account what people have told them only extending hours if there is a clear majority to do so. People who have criticised the wording of the survey are correct, it should have included a 'no change' option. Within every zone there will be some streets that experience greater parking pressure depending on their location. It looks like the council is consolidating the surveys across lots of zones to save a bit of money but at this stage it is only a proposal. If they were to press ahead with extending hours in zones where there wasn't clear support for change then, 100% I would agree this would be outrageous. |
