| Well, that’s all very nice but if it’s going to cost more to source the part and pay someone to fix something than it would to buy a new item you know what will happen. Simple economics. Are you aware of how expensive certain tradespeople are now? A lot of things are beyond the competence of many people and if you don’t have the correct tools it’s impossible. We are seeing a lot of old independent businesses disappearing now. The vacuum servicing shop at the top end of Northfield Avenue, City Rafio in Ealing and now Fuselodge in Acton Green. |
